Billvocate ("we", "us") runs billvocate.com, a tool that checks medical bills for possible errors and drafts dispute letters and phone scripts. This policy explains what happens to the information you give us. Billvocate is operated by [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME], [STATE] (to be completed once the business is registered).
What we collect
Your bill. When you check a bill, you send us the text you paste or the photo or PDF you upload. Bills can contain your name, account numbers, dates of service, medical codes and amounts.
Basic technical data. Like every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) briefly processes your IP address and browser information to deliver the page and to block abuse. We use your IP address only to limit how many checks one visitor can run.
We do not ask for or collect your Social Security number, insurance member ID or payment card details on this site. Please remove anything you don't want to share before uploading.
What we do with your bill
Your bill is used for one thing: to produce your results. We send it to our AI provider, Anthropic, which reads it and returns the findings, letter and phone script. The results are shown in your browser.
We do not save your bill or your results. Our server does not store, log or keep copies of what you upload. When you close the page, your results are gone unless you copied them.
Anthropic, our AI provider, processes the bill under its commercial terms. It automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days, except where longer retention is needed to enforce its usage policies or is required by law, and it does not use them to train its models by default.
What we never do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your bill for marketing.
Service providers
- Cloudflare hosts the website and protects it from abuse.
- Anthropic provides the AI that reviews your bill.
- Stripe will process payments when paid features launch. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
Security
Connections to billvocate.com are encrypted (HTTPS). Because we do not store bills, there is no database of bills to be breached.
Children
Billvocate is not intended for anyone under 18.
Your choices
Because we don't keep your bill, there is nothing for us to delete after your session. If you have questions about your information, email support@billvocate.com.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
